Cadi Jones is Commercial Innovation Director for Clear Channel Outdoor’s international division (CCI), and is primarily responsible for defining its international programmatic strategy and deployment – a key initiative in the company’s technology-led digital transformation strategy.
Cadi joined Clear Channel in 2016, bringing over 10 years’ experience in digital media to the role, including eight specifically focused on programmatic solutions. As well as implementing and driving the commercial strategy, Cadi is part of a cross-functional, multi-market team responsible for delivering Clear Channel’s international programmatic offering across its European markets. CCI’s ambitious programmatic roadmap has so far has seen the launch of the first out-of-home programmatic buying tool with a guaranteed offer in Europe, which went live in Belgium in January 2017, with brands including Mercedes and Unilever amongst the first advertisers; and confirmation that the UK will be the next market to offer programmatic buying capabilities from March.
Before joining Clear Channel, Cadi was Global Sales Director of premium publisher alliance, the Pangaea Alliance (FT, Guardian, CNN, Reuters, The Economist), where she established the company’s sales processes and policies, and led commercial strategy. Prior to this, she was at Yahoo for eight years and held a variety of roles, including Audience & Programmatic Director, Northern Europe, leading the commercial strategy for all audience-targeted solutions across both managed service and programmatic solutions on all devices and platforms for the region. Internationally, she has headed Yahoo’s programmatic activity with US clients in the FMCG, travel and entertainment sectors, and set up the company’s performance display and programmatic offering across the Middle East.
Cadi has an MA and BA (Hons) in Modern Languages and is fluent in French and Spanish. She is also a supporter for diversity and women in the media, mentors up and coming female talent in the industry, and is an active member of a number of industry organisations, including DAWN (Digital Advertising Women’s Network).
