Tim’s focus in the past 5 years as Director of Business Transformation at JCDecaux UK has been to drive to drive the innovation, design and delivery of the JCDecaux ‘SmartBRICS’ software which transforms the traditional OOH sales model into an automated objective and audience led dynamic powered by data, opening JCDecaux and their partners to new trading models and revenue growth.
Based on UK commercial success, the SmartBRICS planning and trading (SSP) product is now being rolled out throughout the JCDecaux global group.
Tim is a recognised trailblazer in the global digital media industry having built audience led trading solutions, screen networks, scheduling software and dynamic content for Media Owners, Brands and landlords in Europe, USA, Asia and South America since 2004.
This success builds on 25 Years of creative software design, development, marketing and sales experience with companies including Cummins Engine Company, Nintendo, EA, BBC, Inspired Gaming, and CAPITA; designing, productising, licensing and publishing a range of products for industries ranging from B2C gaming/gambling to B2B media trading on mobile, console, kiosk and desktop platforms.
Formal qualifications include an MSc in ‘Computer Aided Graphical Technology Application’ from Teesside University and a BEng Hons in ‘Manufacturing Engineering with Automation’ from Leeds Metropolitan University, building on a technical apprenticeship in manufacturing engineering automation and robotics.
